The Fishmonger is the official publication of the VAHC. We publish 8-10 editions per year and they contains a variety of home grown and scavenged content. Articles include:

• updates from previous and upcoming club meetings
• a classified section where club members can advertise the sale of aquarium related items for FREE)
• information on Special club events like the annual Spring Member's Only auction and our Annual November Monster Aquatic auction
• local store listings
• a number of articles on various topics of interest to the aquarist

The aquarium related articles make up the bulk of each Fishmonger. We would prefer if all of these articles were original pieces written by our members but unfortunately only a few of our members contribute content for the Fishmonger. To encourage club members to dust off the old keyboard and write a few words for us we've come up with our Write to Win promotion. All club member's are eligible to participate and there will be two prize draws each year (June and December).
