February	Club Meeting: Feb 06, 2008 We'll have a presentation, a Q and A session of course our usual mini-auction of plants and fish.
March	Club Meeting: Mar 05, 2008 We'll have a presentation, a Q and A session of course our usual mini-auction of plants and fish.
April	Spring Member's Only Spring Auction: Apr 02, 2008 Mark your calendars! We've set the date for this spring's Member's Only Auction and it's Wednesday April 2nd, 2008. Setup starts at 7:00pm so don't be late.
May	Club Meeting: May 07, 2008 We'll have a presentation by Rick Ott on "Taking Aquarium Photos", a Q and A session of course our usual mini-auction of plants and fish.
June	Club Meeting: Jun 04, 2008 Jeff Marliave, VP Marine Sciences - Vancouver Aquarium, will give a presentation titled Fish Habitat; Refuge vs. Food Web, the example of Glass Sponge reefs in Georgia Straight. We'll also have a Q and A session of course our usual mini-auction of plants and fish.
July	No Scheduled Event There will be no meeting in July.
August	No Scheduled Event There will be no meeting in August.
September	Club Meeting: Sep 03, 2008 We'll have a presentation, a Q and A session of course our usual mini-auction of plants and fish.
October	Club Meeting: Oct 01, 2008 We'll have a presentation, a Q and A session of course our usual mini-auction of plants and fish.
November	11th Annual Monster Aquatic Auction: Nov 05, 2008 Our 11th Annual Monster Aquatic Auction will be held on a Saturday in November.
December	Club Meeting: Dec 03, 2008 We'll have a presentation, our regular Q&A session, our regular plant and fish mini-auction and our annual holiday GIFT EXCHANGE. We did this the last few years and everyone who participated had a great time. The plan is to give away something worth $5 - $10 that is still good e.g. still works but you don't mind parting with, or something new and at the same time hope to get something that you may need in return. The more people who participate, the more fun it will be! The Rules for the GIFT EXCHANGE: Must be gift wrapped (brown paper bag is okay) Items can be from your fish room that you don't use but is in good shape that others can still use (e.g. pump) Items to be worth 5 to 10 dollars Can be used (but still in good shape) or new Can be more than 1 item You may bring fish (community fish ONLY that is not sick or in poor shape) and or plants (NO duck weed please!) Everyone including non-members is welcome to come to our monthly meetings especially if you have any aquarium related questions, however, only club members can partake in the GIFT EXCHANGE event. For those who would like to receive club member benefits and partake in the GIFT EXCHANGE event, you can sign up at this December 3rd meeting, just remember to bring a wrapped gift and $20 (for membership).
